Jesus heals a man born blind and it sets off a fire storm among the Sanhedrin hecklers.  Jesus continues to give big hints about His coming death and resurrection. John 9:1-12, 13-34, 35-41; 10:1-10,11-21

Today, we look at John 8 where Jesus discusses His Father versus the Jewish leaders' father, and we reflect on Jesus' statement that He is the Light of the world. John 8:12-20, 21-30, 31-36, 39-47, 48-59.

The Pharisees get more confused and indignant as Jesus slips into Jerusalem to teach in the Temple during the Feast of Tabernacles.  John 7:25-36, 37-44, 45-53; 8: 2-11; Zephaniah 14:16-18
